KRIVAJA BEECHBROOK CORPORATION is fully owned subsidiery of I.P. KRIVAJA, a company headquartered in Zavidovici, Bosnia and Herzegovina. I.P. KRIVAJA was established with the idea of capitalizing on the rich timberlands of the Bosnia and Krivaja River Basin. The company began its operation in 1884 when it built a sawmill and started production of lumber using one frame sawing machine. Although the sawing machinery is much more sophisticated today, the high quality European Beech lumber is still forested in this fertile region. By the close of the 19th Century, I.P. Krivaja was manufacturing furniture, building materials, and other wood products.
